- Food for children who would otherwise be hungry
- Clothing for children who would otherwise be in rags
- Education to children who have no other chance
- Comfort to children that are suffering
- Training for youth who are idle

Donations from North America are facilitated through Afretech Aid Society, a registered charity that is run by volunteers. There are no administration fees. Donations are received by Afretech either by check (made out to Afretech Aid Society with 'for ebrc' in the note line) or online via Canada Helps. Canada Helps is an online tool, which allows small charities to process credit card donations, something we could not afford to do on our own.Once every two months Afretech sends all the donations to Emmanuel Center's bank account in Kenya.
